Shipping Costs

You can find the delivery times for our products in the detailed view of each item. Orders for in-stock items placed by 12 pm on Friday are usually delivered the following Monday (shipped via DPD within Germany; Saturday delivery is available if DHL is selected). Orders placed after 12 pm will be delivered on Tuesday. Any additional costs for bulky goods are already included in the product prices.

General Shipping Information

How Do We Ship Goods?

We generally consolidate multiple items into one shipment to reduce environmental impact and costs. This may result in a delay of your delivery if certain items are not in stock or have longer delivery times. If you prefer your items to be shipped individually, we can arrange a partial delivery. Our customer service team will handle the necessary steps. Shipping costs, if applicable, will only be charged for one shipment.

Shipping Providers and Transit Times

We ensure safe and reliable shipping with DPD. As an alternative, we offer environmentally friendly DHL GoGreen shipping. Standard delivery time is 1 to 2 business days. We reserve the right to use an alternative shipping provider, such as UPS, if package dimensions, product sensitivity, or other factors make it necessary. During periods of high shipping volumes, transit times may be extended by an additional day. We ask for your understanding on behalf of our logistics partners.

For international orders, cplease allow an additional 2 business days for delivery.

What Should You Know About Freight Shipments?

Large or fragile items are shipped via freight carrier. Transit times may be extended by 2 to 3 business days for domestic shipments and up to 5 business days for international deliveries, depending on the destination.

Unless otherwise agreed, freight shipments are delivered kerbside. This means the customer is responsible for transporting the goods from the kerb to the desired location. If you prefer assistance, we offer an additional service: delivery to the point of use. For an extra fee, your items will be delivered directly to a specific location of your choice (e.g., living room, office, or garage). You can select this option during checkout.

Please provide a valid phone number when placing your order so the freight company can arrange a delivery appointment. We also ask that you ensure the agreed appointment is kept and that you or an authorized person is present at the scheduled time. If delivery fails and a second appointment is required, you will be charged 50% of the actual transport costs for the second delivery.

Would You Like to Pick Up Your Order?

Shop online and pick up your items in-store—it is easy with Leuchtenland.com! Following our Click and Collect model, you can pick up your orders at one of our locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. In addition to our headquarters and central warehouse in 48249 Dülmen, our retail stores and showrooms in 44536 Lünen and 45897 Gelsenkirchen are also available as pick-up points. You can pick up your order during our usual business hours. Please note: In-stock items are typically shipped from our central warehouse in Dülmen. Therefore, there may be slight delays if you choose to pick up your order at one of our branches. Our customer service team is happy to assist with any questions.

A tip for you: If you choose to pick up your order at our company headquarters in Dülmen, you can pay in cash upon collection. The benefit? We will give you a 2% discount on your order!

Our Delivery Times

The delivery times displayed in our online shop are based on standard agreements with manufacturers. However, unforeseen delays may occur due to production issues or material shortages. While we strive to keep delivery times accurate, we ask for your understanding if unexpected delays arise. Should this happen, please contact us so we can work together to find a solution.

24-hour shipping: Items marked with the green 24-hour symbol are in stock and ready to ship. Orders placed by 1 pm will be shipped the same day.

Short-term delivery (approx. 5 days):: Items labelled "short-term delivery" are ordered from the manufacturer but can typically be delivered within a few business days.

Delivery times between 1 and 4 weeks:  Items with delivery times of "1–2 weeks" or longer are ordered from the manufacturer. Delivery times vary depending on the country of manufacture and transport method.

Over 4 Weeks: Items with delivery times exceeding 4 weeks are often made-to-order or cannot be individually shipped by the manufacturer. These items require 4 weeks or more for delivery.

Freight Shipments:  Items that require freight shipping due to size, weight, or material extend delivery times by 1 to 3 business days.

Our Shipping Costs

For orders over €99, we offer free shipping within Germany, provided the item does not require freight forwarding. For orders under €99, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 (DPD) or €6.90 (DHL). Please note that we do not ship to German islands.
