Flos 265 Chromatica wall light: functional in design, artistic in color aesthetics
A design classic goes colorful! The Flos 265 Chromatica is the new edition of the original version from 1973. The color scheme, bright red in combination with yellow and blue, corresponds to the original design by Paolo Rizzatto. At the same time, it pays homage to the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, who became famous for his abstract art - paintings with grid-like, geometric surfaces in primary colors.
With its graceful lines and sweeping shape, the luminaire is a highly functional lighting object for the home and contract sector. Here it provides zoned, adjustable light, making it particularly suitable for illuminating work surfaces, desks and dining tables.
Its all-round adjustability also ensures a large radius of movement, making it an ideal alternative to pendant luminaires. Instead of these, it can illuminate table surfaces from above - a particular advantage if there is no ceiling outlet or if a pendant lamp cannot be installed for other reasons.
The Flos 265 Chromatica wall lamp is operated via a toggle switch on the red lamp head. The lamp is equipped with an approximately 2 meter long electric cable for the power supply, the plug of which can simply be plugged into a nearby socket.
