A light source that illuminates from above without the need for a ceiling connection. Inspired by street lamps, whose light spans elegantly over traffic areas, the Castiglioni brothers realized this principle for the interior - and designed Arco, a floor lamp that is aesthetic, autonomous and innovative.
Iconic lamp design with sophisticated details
The characteristic, extendable arc of the Flos Arco is made of satin-finished stainless steel and can be adjusted as required - for example over dining tables, reading corners or lounge furniture. The swivel reflector made of aluminum provides targeted, direct light that you can direct to where you need it.
The arch lamp is stable thanks to its base made of white Carrara marble, a masterpiece of balance and an aesthetic highlight at the same time. Even its circular recess has a function: the lamp can be easily transported by two people using a broom handle - a charming example of Castiglioni's intuitive design philosophy.
