Flos Ariette wall / ceiling light: unusual luminaire body made of synthetic fiber fabric
The Flos Ariette - created by Tobia Scarpa in 1973 - suggests a gentleness and lightness that is based less on its restrained design language than on its material. The square-shaped lampshade is made of light-colored synthetic fiber fabric, which ensures a soft and diffuse light distribution. In this way, the interior surrounding the Ariette is bathed in atmospheric light.
The diffuser is held in shape by a structure made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, which is located inside the luminaire. The Ariette from Flos can be installed as a wall lamp or ceiling lamp. The product is available in two sizes.
