Cancellation Policy

Consumers have a 100-day right of cancellation. Entrepreneurs or business owners are excluded from this right.

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your contract within 100 days without providing any reason. The cancellation period is 100 days from the day you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the final item in your order.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Leuchtenland.com GmbH, Wierlings Hook 4, 48249 Dülmen, Germany, ruecksendung@leuchtenland.com, Tel. +49 2594 782280) of your decision to cancel the contract by making a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached sample cancellation form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication regarding your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel your contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than 14 days from the date we receive your cancellation notice.

We will issue the refund using the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not incur fees for the refund. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you provide proof of returning them, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay, and no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the 14-day period expires.

Return Costs

You are responsible for covering the direct costs of returning the goods. You are free to choose the shipping carrier.

For items that cannot be returned via standard parcel shipping (e.g., freight deliveries), we will arrange collection and charge a maximum return shipping fee of €200 (within Germany) or €350 (outside Germany).

In the case of complaints, we kindly ask you to return the goods at your expense initially. Once the complaint is resolved, the return costs will be refunded. Please contact our customer service team to initiate the necessary steps. We will examine the defect you reported and arrange for repair or replacement delivery. Please note that if you decline a repair or replacement, the cost of return shipping will not be reimbursed.

Compensation for Deterioration

If you cannot return the goods in the same condition as received, or only partially, you may be required to compensate us for the loss in value. This applies only if the loss in value is due to handling that goes beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods' nature, properties, and functionality, as would be permitted in a retail store.

To avoid compensation charges, we kindly ask you to inspect the goods upon receipt and before assembly or use. Please retain the original packaging until you have made your final decision about the purchase. Brand-name products, such as those we offer, lose significant value if returned without their original packaging.

For safe returns, please also keep the outer packaging and filling material until you are certain the item will not be returned. Damage during return shipping due to insufficient packaging may result in a charge for loss in value.

Please ensure that returned items are in the same condition as when you received them. If we provided additional packaging for the product, we ask that you return it in the same way. We value the quality of our products – and we are confident that you do too.
