Discover the Luna piena up by Occhio, a masterpiece of lighting design that combines elegant aesthetics with exceptional functionality. The ceiling light, available with shade diameters of 12.5, 16, and 20 cm, is characterized by its partially mirrored glass sphere and innovative LED fireball technology, which provides direct downward light and an atmospheric glow from the fireball inside the glass sphere.
At the heart of the Luna piena up is the Occhio fireball, a revolutionary light source made of satin-finished glass that appears to float weightlessly at the center of the glass sphere. The special mount, coated with "Musou black"—an extremely deep black that absorbs 99.4% of incident light—makes the mount nearly invisible, thereby enhancing the fireball’s floating effect.
The exclusive surface finish of the Luna piena up LED ceiling light is achieved through a metallic PVD coating on the base and glass sphere, which not only creates a visual unity but also impresses with its scratch resistance and durability. Available in the elegant Phantom and Dark Chrome finishes, the light blends seamlessly into modern interior design trends.
Thanks to the integration of the Occhio "air" module, the Luna piena up can be conveniently switched on and dimmed via the free Occhio air app or the optionally available Occhio air controller. The light color temperature can be continuously adjusted from a warm tone to a cooler light (2,700 to 4,000 K or 2,200 to 3,500 K for x-tra warm), ensuring the room’s atmosphere always meets your needs.
For those who prefer a more traditional control method, the Luna piena up offers the option of being operated via an external phase-cut dimmer. In this case, the light color is set to a constant color temperature using a rotary switch (2,700/3,000/3,500/4,000 K or 2,200/2,700/3,000/3,500 K). The integrated ballast facilitates installation directly at the ceiling connection.
For maintenance, both the glass shade and the fireball can be easily removed. The package includes special Occhio gloves with silicone nubs as well as a microfiber cloth tailored to the Luna luminaires for gentle cleaning. For regular maintenance, we recommend using a feather duster; for thorough cleaning in cases of heavier soiling, use the Occhio "surface cleaner intense" (alternatively, isopropyl alcohol from a pharmacy).
