Occhio Luna scura up LED wall lamp: for a mysterious lighting ambiance with moon-like elegance
The Luna scura up by Occhio is a breathtaking combination of aesthetics and functionality, inspired by the majestic beauty of the moon. The wall lamp captivates with its spherical lamp head made of glossy glass, which casts a soft and mysterious light onto the wall surface. The result is a fascinating play of light that creates an impressive atmosphere in any room.
At the heart of the design lies the patented LED fireball technology. Crafted from satin-finished glass, the Occhio fireball combines soft ambient light with glare-free, directional light and appears to float weightlessly at the center of the glass sphere. This effect is created by the special color of the fireball mount: "Musou black," an extremely deep black that absorbs nearly all light.
Through the combination of the Occhio fireball and the mirrored front of the glass sphere, the Luna scura up LED wall light creates a unique lighting effect: its light radiates indirectly toward the wall surface, creating a soft, luminous halo. The fireball itself glows within the glass sphere with an atmospheric shimmer.
Equipped with the Occhio "air" module, the Luna scura up can be conveniently switched on and dimmed via the free Occhio air app or the Occhio air controller. The light color temperature is continuously adjustable, allowing you to adapt the room’s atmosphere from a warm, cozy light to a cooler light (2,700 to 4,000 K or 2,200 to 3,500 K for x-tra warm). In addition, the wall lamp can be integrated into groups and scenes with other Occhio luminaires.
For an alternative control option, the Occhio Luna scura up is compatible with an external phase-cut dimmer. The operating mode is set via a rotary switch on the converter; however, unlike when controlled via Occhio air, a constant light color must be selected (2,700/3,000/3,500/4,000 K or 2,200/2,700/3,000/3,500 K). Thanks to the integrated ballast, the lamp can be mounted directly on a wall outlet.
Like all Occhio lamps, the Luna scura up LED wall lamp features an elaborate surface finish. The base and glass sphere are coated with a metallic PVD finish, which ensures hardness, scratch resistance, and durability. Available in the elegant Phantom and Dark Chrome finishes, the lamp blends seamlessly into modern interior design trends.
The glass shade and fireball are removable, making the product particularly easy to maintain. The package also includes Occhio gloves with silicone nubs and a microfiber cloth tailored to Luna for removing dust and smudges. Regular care with a feather duster and Occhio “surface cleaner intense” (or isopropyl alcohol from a pharmacy) ensures a lasting, radiant appearance.
