The Occhio Luna basso table lamp combines modern design and technical innovations into a stylish masterpiece. Inspired by the beauty of the moon, the lamp enchants with its spherical, gleaming glass sphere and soft light. As accent lighting on dressers, sideboards, and side tables, it brings a touch of celestial magic into your home.

The Luna basso owes its unique appearance to a sophisticated surface finish: the base and transparent glass sphere are coated with a metallic PVD finish, creating a seamless visual blend. Thanks to its hardness and scratch resistance, the PVD coating ensures exceptional durability. Finishes include warm Phantom and elegant Dark Chrome. Both shades harmonize perfectly with modern interior design trends and are characterized by their timeless appeal.

At the heart of the Luna basso’s design lies the patented LED fireball technology. The Occhio fireball is an innovative light source that combines soft ambient light with glare-free directional light. Made of satin-finished glass, it appears to float weightlessly in the center of the lampshade—an impression created by the fireball’s special mount. This is coated in “Musou Black,” the deepest black that absorbs 99.4% of incident light and thus remains invisibly concealed.

The glass sphere with a mirrored base, in combination with the Occhio fireball, creates a soft, indirect light distribution: The light from the Occhio Luna basso table lamp shines upward in a focused beam and is simultaneously reflected by surrounding surfaces such as the room’s walls. The result is a captivating lighting atmosphere that creates magical moments full of elegance in the living room, hallway, and bedroom alike.

In terms of ease of use, the table lamp impresses with the functionalities typical of Occhio. It features innovative gesture control (touchless control), allowing light intensity and color temperature to be continuously adjusted via gesture—ranging from 2,700 to 4,000 K or 2,200 to 3,500 Kelvin (Occhio x-tra warm), depending on the model. The two sensors are located on the lamp base.

In addition, the product is equipped with the Occhio air Bluetooth control system, allowing you to control all features via the free Occhio air app or the Occhio air controller, available as an accessory. This way, the lighting can always be adjusted to your preferences, creating a lighting atmosphere that perfectly harmonizes with your needs.

The glass shade and Occhio fireball are removable for maintenance purposes. The package includes special Occhio gloves with silicone nubs and a microfiber cloth for removing dust and smudges from the glass sphere. For regular maintenance of the Luna basso, simply dust it with a feather duster. More stubborn dirt can be removed with the Occhio “surface cleaner intense” or isopropyl alcohol from a pharmacy.
