At the heart of the design is the patented LED fireball technology. The revolutionary Occhio fireball combines soft ambient light with glare-free directional light. Crafted from finely satin-finished glass, it appears to float weightlessly at the center of the lampshade—an impression created by the special color of the mount: It is coated in "Musou black," an ultra-deep black that absorbs nearly all incoming light, making the mount virtually invisible.

Together with the mirror-finished surface of the lampshade, the Occhio fireball provides downward-reflected, glare-free, and softly diffused light. Like all Occhio lamps, the Luna sogno also impresses with its exceptional ease of use. Two sensors on the lamp body allow the designer lamp to be controlled touch-free with a simple hand gesture: The brightness can be dimmed continuously, and the light color can be flexibly adjusted to the situation at hand (from 2,700 to 4,000 K or 2,200 to 3,500 K for Occhio x-tra warm). This allows you to effortlessly switch from soft mood lighting to brighter task lighting—without a switch.

In addition, the Occhio Luna sogno features the modern Bluetooth control system Occhio air. This allows the designer table lamp to be integrated particularly flexibly into smart lighting concepts and conveniently operated via smartphone, tablet, or the optional Occhio air controller. Another particularly practical feature is the ability to group multiple Luna lights together and control them synchronously (Occhio air sync), creating a harmoniously coordinated lighting scene in the room. To ensure you enjoy your Luna sogno for years to come, the package includes a special Occhio microfiber cloth as well as gloves with silicone nubs for a better grip on the glass sphere. A feather duster is sufficient for regular cleaning. More stubborn dirt can be removed with the Occhio "surface cleaner intense" or isopropyl alcohol from the pharmacy. The glass shade and Occhio fireball are removable for maintenance purposes.
