Occhio Luna sospeso var up LED pendant light: flexible lighting design at its best

The Luna sospeso var up by Occhio combines moon-like elegance with advanced lighting technology. With its spherical, glossy glass sphere and innovative LED fireball technology, the pendant luminaire creates a unique lighting effect: Direct light shines downward without glare for targeted zone lighting, while the fireball inside the sphere produces a soft, atmospheric glow.

The suspension length of the Luna sospeso var up can be continuously adjusted between 50 and 200 cm. This makes the fixture an ideal light source over dining tables and counters in living areas as well as in hotel and restaurant interiors. Whether placed alone or in a group arrangement, the Luna sospeso draws all eyes to itself and creates a welcoming atmosphere in the room.

At the heart of the pendant lamp is the patented LED fireball technology, a satin-finished glass sphere that combines directional light with soft ambient light. The ingenious design, featuring a mount in "Musou black"—a deep black that absorbs nearly all light—makes the Occhio fireball appear to float weightlessly at the center of the lampshade.

Lighting is controlled touchlessly via gesture control or through the integrated Occhio "air" module, which allows control via the free Occhio air app or the optionally available Occhio air controller. In addition to stepless adjustment of light intensity, the color temperature can also be varied as desired: from 2,700 to 4,000 K or 2,200 to 3,500 K (Occhio x-tra warm). Thanks to Occhio air, multiple Occhio lights can also be synchronized and controlled simultaneously.

For traditional operation, the Occhio Luna sospeso var up can also be controlled via an external phase-cut dimmer, though a constant light color must be set (2,700/3,000/3,500/4,000 K or 2,200/2,700/3,000/3,500 K). The lamp’s sophisticated surface finish, featuring a metallic PVD coating, ensures durability and scratch resistance. Available in the modern, elegant Phantom and Dark Chrome finishes, the product blends harmoniously into contemporary interior designs.

For maintenance purposes, the glass shade and fireball of the Luna sospeso var up are easily removable. The package also includes special Occhio gloves with silicone nubs and a microfiber cloth for cleaning the glass sphere. Regular use of a feather duster and Occhio "Surface Cleaner Intense" (or alternatively, isopropyl alcohol from a pharmacy) ensures the pendant lamp remains in pristine condition.
