Die Lix Casambi ready von IP44.DE verbindet die mobile Freiheit einer hochwertigen Akku-Tischleuchte mit intelligenter Lichtsteuerung. Das integrierte Casambi-Modul macht sie besonders interessant für alle, die einzelne oder mehrere portable Leuchten komfortabel per Smartphone oder Tablet bedienen sowie in ein bestehendes Casambi-Netzwerk einbinden möchten. Damit eignet sich die Lix nicht nur für Terrasse, Balkon und Garten, sondern ebenso für Wohnzimmer und anspruchsvolle Gastronomie- bzw. Hospitality-Bereiche, in denen zahlreiche Tischlampen zentral gesteuert werden sollen.
Ihr weich gestreutes, blendarmes Licht schafft eine angenehme Atmosphäre rund um Esstisch, Loungegruppe oder Sitzplatz. Dank Dim to Amber verändert sich beim Herunterdimmen nicht nur die Helligkeit, sondern zugleich die Lichtfarbe stufenlos von warmweißen 2.700 Kelvin bis auf besonders behagliche 1.800 Kelvin. Die Bedienung bleibt trotz smarter Technik intuitiv. Im manuellen Modus wird die Leuchte durch Berühren der Oberseite des Leuchtenkopfes ein- und ausgeschaltet; längeres Berühren dimmt das Licht inklusive Dim-to-Amber-Effekt. Die zuletzt verwendete Dimmstufe wird gespeichert. The lix Casambi ready is controlled using the free Casambi app. Once integrated into a Casambi network, you can switch and dim the lix using a smartphone or tablet. In a suitably configured Casambi system, several lights can also be controlled together, while lighting scenes and time-based controls can be created.
Can several lix Casambi ready lamps be controlled at the same time?
Yes. This is one of the key advantages of the Casambi version. Several lix Casambi ready lamps can be organised in the Casambi app and combined into groups, for example. This allows multiple rechargeable table lamps to be switched or dimmed synchronously instead of having to operate each lamp individually.
Does Casambi control require Wi-Fi?
No, Wi-Fi is not required for local control of the lix Casambi ready. Casambi communicates via Bluetooth Low Energy and a wireless mesh network. For local control of the lights by smartphone or tablet, Bluetooth communication is therefore central rather than a conventional Wi-Fi lighting system. Additional network or gateway solutions may be relevant depending on the desired functionality of the overall Casambi system.
Can the lix Casambi ready also be operated without the app?
Yes. In manual mode, the lamp can be operated directly via the touch-sensitive surface on the top of the lamp head. A brief touch switches the lix on or off. Touching and holding continuously adjusts the brightness while also activating the Dim to Amber function.
Why does the touch dimmer initially stop working after connecting to Casambi?
Once the lix has been connected to a Casambi network, the touch dimmer is deactivated by default. This is not a fault. Touch operation can be reactivated via the Casambi app. App control and manual operation on the lamp head can then be used in parallel.
What is the Casambi standby mode?
If the lix Casambi ready is not used for one week, it automatically activates a standby mode. This helps conserve the battery and extend its operating time. To “wake” the lamp, simply place it briefly on the charging base. Yes. When operated manually, the last dimming level used is stored. After the rechargeable table lamp is switched off and on again, it starts with this setting.

Indicator lights on the underside of the lamp base show the current battery level. How is the lix Casambi ready charged?
A charging base with a 1.2-metre USB-C cable is included. To charge the lamp, simply place it on the charging base. During charging, the indicator beneath the lamp head lights up red; once the battery is fully charged, it changes to green. Charging must only take place indoors.
How long does a full charge take?
A full battery charge takes approximately nine hours. Before using the lix for the first time, the battery should be fully charged once.
Is a USB-C power adapter included?
The charging base with a 1.2-metre USB-C cable is included. A suitable USB-C power adapter for connection to the mains is available separately as an accessory. IP44.DE offers a USB-C charger with 5V DC and 2.0A for this purpose.
