Pendant Luminaire Explained: Types, Installation & Applications

A pendant luminaire is suspended from the ceiling by a cable, wire or rod and produces direct, indirect or direct-indirect light depending on its design. Types include single pendants, multi-light, linear and cluster pendant luminaires. Above a dining table, the lower edge should hang approximately 60–70 cm above the table surface.
