UGR Value Explained: Glare Assessment in Interior Lighting

The UGR value (Unified Glare Rating) is a standardised metric for assessing psychological glare caused by a lighting installation in interiors. DIN EN 12464-1 defines different limits depending on the visual task – for example UGR ≤ 19 for office and screen-based workstations.
